FGE Power, LLC is an energy company focused on the development and ownership of economically and environmentally sustainable power generation facilities in the United States. FGE Power actively works to apply its Triple Bottom Line approach to all projects – maximizing the economic, social, and environmental impacts on the local community. 

• Economic
  FGE Power creates long-term partnerships with strategic partners (OEM, EPCs, O&M, etc.) prior to selection of development sites in order to maximize the effects of preferred pricing, shared development costs, and community involvement. These partnerships result in more efficient projects with greater equity returns for shareholders and with greater economic impact on local communities.

• Social
  FGE Power works alongside local governments and EDCs to promote long-term job creation with its projects. Additionally, FGE Power has begun exploring options related to the aesthetic options of future CCGT facilities, working with world-leading architectural firms to understand how to minimize the potentially obstructive nature of the future power plant and to understand how to accomplish an additive aesthetic value, a goal recently being accomplished at new power generation facilities in Europe and Canada.

• Environmental
  FGE Power is building the next generation of renewable energy paired with high-efficiency and high-flexibility gas plants to replace the country’s aging fleet of coal and nuclear power plants.

Leadership

Emerson Farrell – Founder, CEO, President of FGE Power

Responsible for the overall strategy of FGE Power through the management of strategic partnerships, long-term financial planning, selection of projects and oversight of project financial planning.

Serves as board director and/or senior advisor to various firms focused on clean tech, biofuels, and distributed power generation.

Previously led corporate strategy and business development for high-tech firm ZINK Imaging, managed client engagements and business development efforts with management consulting firm Silver Oak Partners and participated in the formation of international private-public investment funds with Economic Innovation.

Mr. Farrell serves on the board of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (HAE) and the For A Day Foundation and received his B.A. from Harvard University.
